Past Continuous Tense:

অতীত কালে যদি কোনো কাজ যদি আরম্ভ হয়ে চলিতে ছিল বোঝায় তবে verb এর Past Continuous Tense হয় ।

Past Continuous Tense এর বাক্যের গঠন:
Subject+ was/were+ verb+ing + object +others

যেমন:
১. সে নাছিতেছিল। = She was dancing
২. সে তখন একটি গল্প লিখিতেছিলো।= He was writing a story then.
৩. তাহারা মাঠে ফুটবল খেলতেছিল। = They were playing football in the field.
