: HTML stands for HYPER TEXT MARK-UP LANGUAGE. HTML is used for making internet pages. It is a collection of keywords. Which is called 'tags' that are helpful in writing the texts to be displayed on internet using any browser. It was developed by TIMBERNERS-LEE at the EUROPEAN LABORATORY FOR PARTICLE PHYSICS(CERN) in GENEVA.
